Behind the Phoenix Warbird part 4

The creator’s posted another part for Behind the Phoenix Warbird. This is the 4th part in the series in uncovering how the creator’s design and build poptropica objects. It looks like in this part, they added some touch of color that they call “the old poptropica magic”. They continued to use the scaling tool and gave the ship it’s paint and colors. It’s been painted brown with red sails, one of which is covered in fiery flames, and a red tail on the end as well. They also gave some blue to the sides and near the cannons. At the front is the head of the warbird with a the head of a great bird opening it’s mouth. The ship resembles a warbird with the sails as wings, the sail on the back as a tail, the hulk as a body, and the front as a head. Looks pretty beast if you ask me! šŸ™‚

The creator’s posted this today:

You’ve already seen how the mighty Phoenix Warbird started life as a simple pencil sketch. (Wait, you haven’t? Check out the first part of our behind-the-scenes look at Skullduggery Island.)

The creators worked hard to get the details right, and now it’s time to give the Phoenix Warbird a sprinkling of that old Poptropica magic.

The designers color in the black-and-white outline they made earlier. They create a simple background of water and sky to demonstrate how the ship will appear in Skullduggery Island. And, as before, they add a little reference box that shows how big the Warbird is compared to a Poptropican.

The Phoenix Warbird is almost ready to set sail on Skullduggery Island!

Almost ready to set sail? That must mean that there’s one more post or so into the makings of this beastly ship. What could it be? I wonder. And it sortaf hit me that all the poptropica creator’s are either freaks or weirdos. Captain Crawfish? Ned Noodlehead? Master Mime? Dr. Hare? It’d be funny if they just have a name like Bob šŸ™‚ Speaking of the weird creator names, this just sortaf hit me:

What happened to his eye? I don’t really want to see. Why does he have earings? Did he get his ears pierced? His teeth are stained, has he been on drugs? He has a thick beard so I’m betting he’s a drunk.

This poptropican is disturbed. Elmo Pwns out!
